Compound Intérêt
Future value avec contributions; savings-goal solver
About this tool
Calculate savings with compound interest and regular deposits, or estimate the time needed to reach a goal.
Future value
The rate is an annual nominal percentage. Interest compounds at the selected frequency. Deposits occur at the end of complete periods; a partial final period earns interest but receives no extra deposit. Continuous compounding uses exponential growth and monthly deposits.
Example
With 1,000 initially, a 10% annual rate and 100 deposited at each year end, the value after two years is 1,420.
Savings goal
The goal estimate assumes monthly compounding and monthly deposits. Already reached goals take zero months. Unreachable goals are identified. Fractional months interpolate the annuity formula; round up for a whole-month schedule.
Limits
Amounts must be non-negative and finite. Enter ungrouped numbers with a decimal point or comma. Taxes, fees, inflation and variable rates are excluded.
