Solve V = I·R for DC. Choose the known pair. The missing quantity and power P = V·I are computed. Voltage and current must be finite and ≥ 0. When V and I are known, current must be greater than 0. Resistance as an input must be greater than 0. Example: 12 V and 6 Ω give 2 A and 24 W.
