Working Days

Count both endpoints of a Gregorian date range, 1583–9999. Select weekly days off; Saturday and Sunday are the default. The working-day result subtracts weekly rest and additional exclusions without counting overlaps twice. Reset restores the current local month-to-date, Saturday/Sunday and no calendar.

Built-in calendars cover 2024–2026 only: Germany’s nine nationwide holidays, England/Wales bank holidays including substitute days, and the regular US federal holiday schedule for Monday–Friday employees, including observed dates. Germany’s state/local holidays, Scotland/Northern Ireland, private employer rules, special closures and individual US substitute-day rules for other workweeks are not included. Outside coverage, select None and supply your own dates.

Open Additional dates for regional holidays, leave or closures. Enter up to 100 YYYY-MM-DD dates separated by lines, spaces, commas or semicolons. Duplicates and overlap with calendar holidays count once; dates outside the range have no effect. Open Individual days off to see each date and whether it was already a weekly rest day. Invalid input removes previous results; small drafts survive reload.
