Typing speed

Choose 30, 60 or 120 seconds and start. Time begins with your first character. Copy the text, including spaces, case and punctuation. Underlined characters are incorrect; correct them normally. When a passage matches, the next passage appears automatically. Restart discards the current run.

WPM = retained characters ÷ 5 ÷ minutes. Correct WPM counts only characters matching their target positions. Accuracy is the matching percentage of retained text, including completed passages. Spaces and punctuation count; accented characters are normalized. Deleted mistakes are not kept as failed keystrokes. This is final-text accuracy, not a full keystroke error rate.

These are eight original practice passages in a repeating sequence, not a standardized exam. Languages and repeated practice have different difficulty. The timer continues in background tabs and stops at the selected deadline. Text stays in your browser. No autocorrection or spellcheck is requested; device settings can still affect input.
