Pomodoro Planner
Plan exact work time with short and long breaks, then run a pausable session timer.
About this tool
Choose work and break lengths, blocks per cycle, and the target number of working hours. Plan creates a paused session; Start begins it. The final work block is shortened to meet the target, rounded to the nearest second. There is no break after the final block. A zero break length omits that break.
A long break replaces the short break after every complete cycle. Total duration includes work and breaks; the target includes work only. The schedule shows offsets from the beginning, not calendar times. CSV exports the original plan in seconds, including phase types, work-block numbers and start/end offsets. Skipping or pausing changes the live timer, not the planned CSV.
The timer advances automatically through phases. Pause keeps the current remaining time; Skip works during pause too. Reset returns to the beginning, and Restart repeats a completed plan. Editing an input discards the plan and stops the timer.
Remaining time is calculated from elapsed system time, not the number of callbacks. Delayed updates catch up across all elapsed phases. Browser background throttling, device sleep or suspended audio can delay alerts; this page is not an operating-system alarm. A catch-up emits one signal, not a burst of missed signals. Changing the system clock can affect timing.
Sound is optional and initialized by Start. Browser notifications are requested only when you select that option. Denied permissions are reported and do not block the timer. Notifications depend on browser and platform support. No server, uploads or persistent background service.
Limits: work 1–180 minutes, short breaks 0–60, long breaks 0–180, cycles 1–100 work blocks, target 1 minute–24 hours. This is a customizable planner, not a claim that one schedule improves productivity. Browser timer behavior · Notification permissions
