Date Add

Add or subtract local calendar fields, elapsed time, or business days from a base date.

Years, months, and days use local civil time. When a target month has fewer days, the date clamps to its final day: 31 January + 1 month becomes 28 February in 2025. Hours and minutes are elapsed time, so a calendar day across daylight saving can differ from 24 hours.

Business days skip selected weekdays only; public holidays are not included.

Example

Start 2025-12-19 + 5 business days → 2025-12-26 when Saturday and Sunday are off.
