Spelling Bee

Find English word candidates from seven different letters. Every word must include the required letter and have at least four letters. Letters may be reused without limit. Enter one required letter and six other distinct letters; outer spaces and case are ignored, but non-English characters and internal spaces are rejected.

Four-letter words score one point. Longer words score their length. A pangram uses all seven letters at least once and adds seven points: angelic scores 14, allegiance scores 17. Repeated letters are allowed. Stars mark pangrams; filter by word length or show only pangrams. Points in this selection sum all currently filtered words, not just the visible page.

This general English dictionary includes rare and historical words, names and abbreviations. It is not the official NYT answer list and cannot predict which words a particular game accepts. Candidate counts and point totals apply only to this list. An arbitrary seven-letter set need not have a pangram. This is a solver, not a daily puzzle or a spelling practice game.

Results are ordered by points then alphabetically, 50 words per page. Copy and TXT export every currently filtered candidate with points and a localized yes/no pangram column. Editing letters clears old results. Inputs remain in memory across tool navigation; reloading restores the example. Searches run in the browser; inputs are not uploaded.
