Space-Filling Curves

Increasing the order subdivides the square recursively. A Hilbert curve of order n visits 4ⁿ grid cells in one continuous path; consecutive points are neighbouring cells. The Peano example has 9ⁿ points.

Point and segment counts grow exponentially, so the control has a conservative maximum order.
