Ramachandran Plot

Ramachandran plot — backbone dihedral angles phi and psi of a peptide residue. Steric clash restricts most of the plane; alpha-helix and beta-sheet occupy favored islands. This tool uses schematic regions for education, not a residue-specific density map.
