Procedural Image
Generate images from modulo and sine algorithms
About this tool
Choose a pattern and the image dimensions, then Generate image. Download PNG saves the original pixels; the preview may be smaller. Dimensions are whole numbers from 16 to 2048 px, with at most 4 million pixels in total.
Modulo and division create arithmetic colour patterns; sine waves and rings create smooth periodic patterns. Scale changes the blue multiplier for modulo, the band density for division, or the wavelength for sine patterns. Offset shifts the sampled coordinates by (offset, 2 × offset); it is not a random seed. Scale accepts 2–96 and offset a whole number from 0 to 2147483647.
Generation shows progress and can be cancelled. Changing settings cancels pending work and removes the previous image. Settings are retained across tool navigation; images are generated only on request. No files are uploaded. Identical settings are reproducible in the same browser; sine rounding may differ at byte boundaries between engines.
