Fake test data
Generate placeholder text, people, US addresses and checksum-valid numbers as text, JSON or CSV.
About this tool
Choose data type/count, optionally a fixed seed, then Generate. Same parameters and seed produce identical data; without seed, fresh random data. Switch text/JSON/CSV afterward without drawing new data. Copy/save include every generated row. Preferences can be stored, output data are not.
People/addresses are synthetic examples from limited names and US address components, not verified locations; duplicates are possible. Each row has an ordinal ID. Birth dates range 1950–2005 and are timezone-independent. Emails use .invalid; phones use the reserved fictional +1 202 555-0100–0199 range.
IBANs meet national format/length and MOD97 checksum using SWIFT registry release 103, not domestic account checks or bank/account registry validation. Card numbers match shown prefixes/lengths and Luhn, but are not published payment-provider sandbox numbers. For payment integration tests use your provider’s own test values.
JSON/CSV keys remain stable English technical identifiers. JSON retains number, iban, zip, phone and dob as strings. Import identifier columns as text if your CSV application automatically converts numbers. CSV uses commas, quoting, CRLF and UTF-8-BOM. IDs restart at 1 for each generation. Maximum 500 records; Lorem up to 20 sentences per paragraph. Seed is a 32-bit integer.
