Countdown

Set a duration, choose a minute preset or enter hours (0–99), minutes and seconds (0–59). The display previews the selected duration.

• Start runs the timer; Pause and Resume preserve the remaining time. Editing a paused duration starts a new countdown instead.
• Reset stops the timer and restores the selected full duration. Presets select a duration without starting it.
• Sound enables a short bell at zero. Start activates browser audio; device volume and browser sound settings still apply.
• Switching tools on this page keeps the timer running. Reloading or closing the page stops it; only duration inputs and the sound preference are restored.
• The remaining time uses the device clock. Browser suspension, sleep or muted audio can delay or suppress the bell. Keep the page open for an alarm; this is not a system alarm.
