Bookmarks

Add, edit and search bookmarks on this device. Use complete HTTP or HTTPS URLs without embedded credentials. An empty title uses the URL. Titles, categories and descriptions are plain text; opening a link is the only external request made for a bookmark.

Bookmarks are saved automatically on this device, including unfinished edits, filters and undo removal. Keep JSON backups of important collections. Browser storage must be available; clearing browser data removes this copy. Storage errors or changes in another open tab show a warning. Keep this page open and export JSON before reloading. JSON exports contain collection entries, not unfinished form edits. Import accepts version-1 JSON, adds new URLs and skips existing URLs without replacing entries. Invalid files leave the collection unchanged; editing is temporarily disabled while reading.

Up to 500 bookmarks and a 4 MiB import file. Limits: title 160 characters (or the full URL as fallback), URL 2,048, category 80, description 500. URL normalization detects equivalent spellings; different fragments or query strings remain distinct. No account or cloud synchronization.

Category and description are under Optional details. Search ignores letter case and accents and matches all entered words across title, URL, category and description. Combine it with the exact category filter. Editing retains its draft and filters when switching tools or reloading. Undo removal restores the most recently removed bookmark at its original position; another removal replaces that undo. A duplicate URL or a full collection prevents restoration. Export includes the complete collection regardless of filters.
