2D map ou 3D globe: choropleth et vector layers; toggle Globe pour three.js view

About this tool

One tool for both views: uncheck Globe for the 2D canvas map, check it for the three.js globe. Old URLs /tools/world-globe and /tools/world-flat-map redirect here (with ?globe=1 or ?globe=0).

2D map

Equirectangular, Mercator or Robinson; same choropleth and vector layers as the globe.

3D globe

Topography texture, optional choropleth overlay, drag to rotate, Ctrl+scroll to zoom.

Choropleth

Countries without numeric data (e.g. missing GDP) are shown in a neutral grey; Antarctica has no GDP in the bundled dataset.
