Voltage Divider

Resistive voltage divider V_out = V_in · R2 / (R1 + R2). Leave any one field empty and that value is solved for; current and per-resistor power are reported.

Notes

• If a load is connected, replace R2 with R2∥R_load.
• For a low-impedance reference, keep R1+R2 small (high quiescent current).
• For ADC bias, keep R1+R2 high (lower power, slower settling).
