- RL: τ = L/R, cutoff f_c = R/(2πL).
- 5τ settles to ~0.7 % of final.
Series RLC
- Resonance ω₀ = 1/√(LC), f₀ = ω₀/(2π).
- Q = (1/R)√(L/C); damping ζ = R/2 · √(C/L); bandwidth Δf = f₀/Q.
- Reports underdamped / critically damped / overdamped regime.
