Setups

• Axial bar — fixed at one end, tip force or uniform axial load.
• Heat bar — fixed temperature at one end; fixed T or flux at the other.
• Cantilever beam — fixed displacement and slope at the base; tip point load or UDL.
• Simply supported beam — zero deflection at both ends; UDL.
• Spring chain — identical springs in series.
